Last week was the best, most life-changing week of my life. I got engaged to the most wonderful man on the planet after the perfect proposal in Quebec City (want to keep it kinda private, but it involved a castle on the sea — how amazing is that??) AND I began transitioning for my next chapter career-wise after giving my two weeks’ notice.
I worked there for four years and am so grateful for the friendships I made, the opportunities I was given and the amount I learned. But sometimes there just comes a point where you’ve learned all you can and, especially if you’re still young, you’re just not quite ready to settle in.
That’s why I started grad school in the fall. I cannot wait to begin a period of growth, exploration and entrepreneurship! I’ll be tutoring and health coaching my way through school (contact if you need one or both!), and I’ll have so much more time to work on the blog/book! Writing for pleasure becomes infinitely more enjoyable when you’re not picking up after 10 hours of writing for work : )
Also, now that I don’t have to keep my professional and personal worlds separate, I can actually use my own name on the blog. I know, the whole Alexa thing was silly, but I just felt better keeping some walls up. Most of you probably already know my real name, but if not, drumroll for the big Gossip Girl reveal…
Hey. I’m Erica Ritz.
Big changes happening at Adventures headquarters these days, and all of it has me absolutely on cloud nine. I hope you’re all having an amazing week too!
